Back in August of 2013, I put an ad up here at Deviant Art looking for an artists to team up with to do some book cover illustrations for a trilogy of novels I have planned. I received many submissions, many good submissions. After a hiatus, I'm back at the helm searching. The following are the terms: 1. Flat rate of $225 per book. This is a three book project. Whoever is chosen will be the cover artist for all three. This will come as each book is completed or the plot summary written, not all at once. 2. A few weeks back, I put up a thread here on DeviantArt to inform people that I was looking for a book cover illustrator. The response was pretty remarkable. I closed the thread and now I have a cadre of over twenty illustrators to wade through to choose my finalists. These are some pretty talented people and my hope is that this initial contact will lead to further work for them even if I don't choose them for this particular project. You'll find some of those people in my Favorites (I'm American and that's how we spell it). I'm looking forward to this whole process and I'll keep you updated as we move along.

I'm not an artist. I have a hard time drawing stick men. But I do appreciate art, especially as an author who self-publishes his own books. This is a place where I believe is the best place to find cover artists for my books. So, here I am, searching and admiring people's work, looking for some future artists to work with.
